A hell of a movie!

I read the book ages ago, I can’t even remember the story! I need to read it again, hopefully didn’t throw it away.
One of the few movies where the plot was actually pretty close to the book except for a couple areas, but I liked the changes. The book was tremendous. It got me hooked on Connelly’s novels which I recommend. The movie is very well done. I felt Phillippe’s part was so-so, but the others were great. The screenplay was good and Matthew McC was smooth, just like the character in the book. I recommend the movie, but the books even more. Start with the first Harry Bosch novel and hang on!!!

Lets be honest…. Matthew McConaughey can make any movie ‘well known’, because well, he is ‘well looking’… The plot of Lincoln lawyer would’ve stood as a great movie regardless of Matthews aesthetic contribution, its great drama we can all relate to, the movie Puncture I would deff suggest to all you Lincoln lawyer lovers, where Matthews addiction to alcohol is replace by a just as ‘well looking’ actor Chis Evans and an addiction to all drugs cheeeeeeeck it out broskis

@fascin80 I don’t necessarily agree with that assessment. Novels and films belong to two entirely different media. The novel, as a medium, offers very different elements in telling a story than does the film medium. To compare the two is not always fair. Hollywood does not always use unique approaches that fully utilize film’s capabilities as a medium. (And personally, I thought the film Watchmen was far greater than the graphic novel, which was great in itself)
