I don’t have a lot of money and I just need something until I can afford a better one. I’m moving to the Atlanta area soon, so any place around there. I need something that does work and doesn’t need to much taking care of, but it does need to be really cheap.
I went to a yard sale. I saw a brand new designer purse. It didn’t have a price, so I assumed that meant it was close to retail price. I asked and the woman said, ‘Oh that’s a fake, $3′. I nearly shat. The bag is real, for a fact. (In addition to me studying bags, the serial # checks out) It’s worth like $400ish…. especially new with the tags (ebay).
She also sold me a bunch of designer clothing for a few dollars a piece. (not teen mall wannabe ‘designer’, they were runway design) For example, she sold me a $2000 top for $10. I don’t get it. They definitely aren’t fake. This woman just has a lot of designer stuff and doesn’t know it. How can you not know it? How can someone acquire this stuff without knowing it’s value? Even if they’re gifts, you should know!
she should have known, or asked a friend or something. Should I go back? Or should I just be happy with the sweet deal I made?
btw, she was a 20 something, up to fashion (it seemed by her ‘current’ designer clothing, her hair, and makeup) Her house was huge, her cars were not cheap ones.
